Imran avoids appearing before JC as 'witness'

Whether Dharna or judicial commission, Khan’s opponents always blame him for ‘taking U-turn’, while at times the skipper himself bowls a loose ball.
The commission to probe alleged irregularities resumed its hearing today, however the PTI chief came but did not appear before the commission as a witness.
Yesterday, PTI counsel Hafeez Pirzada had informed the commission that Imran Khan will not present his testimony tomorrow [Wednesday].
The apparent reason for Khan not appearing before the commission was said to be the cross examination by lawyers to substantiate the allegations leveled against ex-CJ Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and former army chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani.
It was further added that had Khan appeared that the much-hyped ’35 punctures’ issue would also have emerged and so the PTI chief avoided it.
On the other hand, a report pertaining to electoral forms was submitted to the commission.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) presented its report on forms 14, 16 and 17 before the judicial commission, while a report regarding form 15 is likely to be submitted on Monday.
In his word with media, Imran Khan reiterated that in several constituencies more than 50 percent of form 15 are missing and that the investigations will head forth on its basis.
Meanwhile, State Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rahman took exception to the PTI chairman demanding him to explain the misplacement of form 15 in the constituencies PTI emerged victorious from.
