Imran is the first PM to rise on strength of the people: Chaudhry Shujaat

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) stalwart Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that Imran Khan is the first prime minister who has risen on the strength of the people.

The veteran politician said that previous prime ministers including himself were created, and two of the previous twenty-one prime ministers were made by him.

“Imran Khan is the first who become the prime minister on the strength of the people.

“All other prime ministers including myself were created. In fact, two of the previous twenty-one prime ministers were made by me,” he said.

He called on supporting Imran Khan to revive the nation’s sovereignty and respect, and improve the adverse economic crisis affecting the nation.

“Imran Khan came for a reason, mindset and was elected as prime minister through hard work,” he said.

He said that differences should be set aside and Imran Khan should be fully supported to complete his mission. He also thanked Imran Khan for his support and said that they have complete faith in him.

The PML-Q had emerged as an unlikely ally for the newly-elected government of Imran Khan who was earlier elected as the prime minister.

PML-Q leader and former chief minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi has ben elected as the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
