ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has decided to expel MNA Dawar Kundi from the party “for leveling baseless allegations” against party leader Amin Gandapur”, ARY News reported.

Senior PTI leader Naeemul Haque told ARY News that Dawar Kundi was at loggerheads with other party leaders in Dera Ismail Khan and was not attending PTI’s parliamentary party meetings.

“Moreover, he wanted to discuss the differences within the party on media and leveled baseless allegations against Amin Gandapur. That is why we have decided to issue him a show-cause notice regarding the matter. If he fails to prove his allegations, he will be expelled,” Naeemul Haque added.

Dawar Khan Kundi has accused PTI leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of facilitating eight people accused of involvement in the alleged stripping and parading naked of a teenage girl in Dera Ismail Khan earlier this month.

On October 27, a 16-year-old girl was stripped and paraded naked in Dera Ismail Khan’s Matt area. The girl’s screams for help fell on deaf ears as no one came to her rescue.

The incident’s survivor was ‘punished’ for her brother’s behaviour. Around three-years-ago, her brother, identified as Sajjad, got involved in a relationship with a girl from the village.
