ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Friday said Prime Minister Imran Khan mainstreamed people of tribal areas, ARY News reported.

“Imran Khan mainstreamed people of tribal areas and Bajaur. This is such an achievement which would be written in the history with golden words,” Fawad Chaudhry wrote on his Twitter handle sharing a picture of the prime minister addressing a huge crowd in a tribal area.

He said only that leader could do this who talked about love instead of hatred and who make reconcile relations between people rather than breaking relations.

On March 27, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan had termed mainstreaming of tribal districts a major challenge for the provincial government.

Mehmood Khan had urged the opposition to point out their mistakes so as the government could ensure good governance.

He had said that they wanted to work together with the opposition for the development and progress of the province.

The chief minister had said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led government was bringing reforms in bureaucracy.

On January 12, Premier Imran Khan had vowed to bring the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) into the national mainstream.

PM Imran Khan had ordered to provide health cards to 0.5 million families in the tribal areas by the end of January.
