PM Imran Khan to visit Punjab tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will reach Punjab on a day-long visit on Saturday (tomorrow), ARY News reported on Friday.

As per schedule of the premier, he will lay foundation stone of Naya Pakistan Housing Project in Renala Khurd in Okara and will also visit FOTON vehicles manufacturing project.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Imran Khan will reach Lahore in afternoon, where he is schedule to visit Aitchison College. Mr Khan will also hold meetings with Punjab Governor, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to discuss provincial related issues.

Yesterday, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar had called on Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss a range of topics.

Besides talking about political scenario, Sarwar had also briefed the premier on Aab-e-Pak Authority, working in Punjab for the provision of safe and clean drinking water.

PM Khan further asked the governor to take emergency measures to cope with water scarcity issue in the province. To which, Sarwar told that the newly-established Aab-e-Pak has prepared a complete strategy to deal with all matters in this regard.

During the meeting, Sarwar also apprised PM Khan regarding his foreign tour to the United States and his meetings with its senators.
