Imran Khan led Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) and Tahirul Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) have announced to lead a long march on Islamabad to press for their demands.
Talking to media in Islamabad veteran People’s Party leader Khursheed Shah appealed the government and Imran Khan to resolve the issues between them peacefully.
The PPP leader vowed to resist any bid to derail the democratic system in the country.
“Peaceful protest is a democratic and constitutional right of every citizen,” said Shah adding that he was praying for the participants of long march.
