Incumbent govt plagued with internal rifts, says Musharraf

Pervez Musharraf, speaking at Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) in Islamabad, said that the present day government is facing internal rifts.

He added that foreign elements are involved in the terror incidents in Pakistan.

“Pakistan is friends with China but everyone is thinking about their own interests”, Musharraf said.

“Pakistan has to respond to the terror threats she is facing”, he added.

The former army chief also said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is also facing problems within its ranks after staging its sit-in in Islamabad.

The APML founder said that the law and order situation in Karachi has improved due to Rangers.
