India must resolve Kashmir issue as per wishes of Kashmiris: PM Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter on Monday to denounce the recent rise in Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir valley while calling for India to solve the decades-old conflict through dialogue and according to the wishes of Kashmiris.

“Strongly condemn the new cycle of killings of innocent Kashmiris in IOK by Indian security forces,” the Prime Minister remarked.

Again asking the arch-rival for a peaceful solution of the matter, he wrote, “It is time India realised it must move to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UN SC [United Nations Security Council] resolutions & the wishes of the Kashmiri people.”

A day earlier, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism killed eight youth in Laroo area of Kulgam district in occupied Kashmir.

Three youth were killed during a cordon and search operation jointly launched by Indian Army’s 9 Rashtriya Rifle, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group in the district. The troops also destroyed a house during the operation.

Three more youth who were injured in firing by Indian troops on protesters in Laroo area of Kulgam district succumbed at SMHS hospital in Srinagar.

Another two youth were killed when a bomb went off while they were removing the debris of the destroyed house. The bomb was laid down by Indian troops during the operation at Laroo in Kulgam district.
