Bilal Ahmed, responding to the statements of Indian Foreign Minister, said that only an occupant country will not allow the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolutions which promises self-determination to the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that if India had respect for international law and moral courage, it would end its reign of terror, withdraw its troops and let the Kashmiris freely decide their future in the UN mandated plebiscite as promised to them by the UNSC resolutions. He added that over 100,000 Kashmiris have been killed, thousands of women widowed and raped, and children orphaned by this brutal occupation and the most egregious form of state terrorism by India.

“Kashmir issue has been and will always be on top of the agenda of any talks between India and Pakistan. This is because durable peace and stability in the region depends on a just and lasting settlement of this dispute in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council”, Ahmed said.

“Using the terrorism bogey, India has not only stalled the bilateral dialogue but also vitiated the overall atmosphere between the two countries”, he added.

Bilal Ahmed further said that the whole world is denouncing terrorism except India and the neighboring country hides its support of terrorists in Pakistan by suggesting that the acts of terrorism in the country are acceptable.

The foreign office spokesman also said that India did not bring the perpetrators of Samjhauta Express bombing to justice while the verdict of granting bail to Swami Aseemanand, the key suspect in the incident, raises doubt on India’s determination in convicting its nationals in terror cases against Muslims.

He also said that the country has submitted the dossiers which contain evidence regarding Indian involvement in the terror cases and instigate chaos in the country. He added that dossiers contain details of India’s interference in terrorism related activities in Balochistan and Karachi alongwith their agencies’ links with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
