RAWALPINDI: Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal on Sunday said India was relentlessly killing Kashmiri youth in the Occupied Kashmir.

In a tweet, on the eve of second martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani, he said Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for self-determination cannot be equated with terrorism.

The spokesperson said Burhan Wani was a young man of 20 years, whose life was snuffed out on trumped up charges. He said such atrocities by the Indian occupied forces cannot suppress freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir.

He said a 14 year old girl was killed, 8 year old raped, and a 5 year old blinded recently in the continued state terrorism by the Indian forces.

Mobile internet services have been shut down across Indian occupied Kashmir, roads into the restive valley were blocked and restrictions on movement were imposed in Srinagar.
