ISLAMABAD: Mushaal Malik, wife of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Yasin Malik, on Saturday said that the Indian COAS Bipin Rawat’s threatening statement against Pakistan is a part of Indian establishment’s grand plan.

Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Mushal Malik said the statement was not surprising and is a joint strategy of the “war-mongering” Indian civil-military leadership which is currently high on war euphoria.

She said that Pakistan has always preferred peace and dialogue, but India has backed away as it does not want to solve the problems in occupied Kahsmir, which is the biggest challenge facing the India government.

“India has always betrayed and backtracked from talks. And any dialogue which did take place has not yielded any result. We are the victims and face regular threats by the Indian army in Kashmir,” she said.

She said that India has resorted to such tactics and threats to suppress the freedom struggle in Kashmir by resorting to brutal atrocities and undermine its own democracy.

When asked about the likely response by Pakistan, she said that it should continue moral and diplomatic support to innocent Kashmiris, expose the Indian sponsorship of terrorism through proxy wars in Afghanistan and the confessions by convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav

She further said that Pakistan should highlight the issue of Kashmir at the United Nations. She said that India sabotaged the peace process, while the UN is the flag bearer of peace, and should also resolve the conflict.

Pakistan should highlight Kashmir at UN

Earlier while addressing a presser with Member of British House of Lords Nazir Ahmed, she said that the issue of Kashmir is currently worse than Palestine, and Indian has occupied the land of the Kashmiris.

She said that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi should raise the voice for Kashmiris clearly at the UN and Pakistan should pressurise the international community to take action against India.

She also proposed that Pakistani leaders should call an all-parties conference (APC) on India declining the invitation by Prime Minister Imran Khan for dialogue to resolve all issues peacefully.

Malik condemned the Indian atrocities and brutalities for crushing freedom struggle of Kashmiris, and said that India has started a proxy way to create trouble in Pakistan and the region.

Indian emerging as fascist, intolerant nation

Nazir Ahmed that India was emerging as intolerant and fascist nation, and the Indian government and military were responsible for supressing the freedom movement in India.

He condemned the Indian army chief’s threat and intolerant comments against Pakistan, which would be harmful for peace in the region. He said that Indian political leadership should play responsible role to resolve the issue through dialogue, and Pakistan could respond to any aggression.

Lord Nazir said that Indian fascist and intolerant attitude threatened world peace and there was threat of war between the two nuclear states and suppressed the intellectual voice. He said that few people in India want to create war like situation and trying to harm the peace between two neighboring countries.

Lord Nazir hailed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts for peace and proposed that he should appoint a Kashmiri like Mushaal Malik to highlight the Kashmir issue at international forums.
