Indian unprovoked firing injures three including two women

RAWALPINDI: Three innocent civilians, including two women, got injured when Indian Army initiated unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) to target civil population.

The incident happened along the LOC in Battal, Hot Spring and Khuiratta sectors.

Saba Azad, 24, and Nagina Aqsad, 36, got injured in the firing.

Pakistan Army responded effectively to the Indian ceasefire violations and targeted those posts which initiated unprovoked firing inflicting substantial damage on them.

More than 1100 instances of  ceasefire violations by Indian forces on the LoC have led to the killings of 45 people and serious injuries to more than a hundred last year alone.

Indian troops have frequently resorted to unprovoked firing from across the border along the LoC dividing the disputed Himalayan region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir between Pakistan and India.
