ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry on Thursday blacklisted former finance minister Ishaq Dar and blocked his passport, on request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Sources in the NAB said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader’s name was put in the blacklist on the anti-corruption watchdog’s request.
Over his perpetual absence from the corruption trial proceeding, the ex-minister was declared fugitive in case pertaining to accumulating wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. Efforts were underway to bring him back to Pakistan through Interpol.
