According to details, officials of Mach Jail had written an application seeking the black warrants of Saulat Mirza.
The interior ministry has decided that the execution will not take place till the joint investigation team makes its decision.
The ministry has prepared a summary regarding his execution delay which will be forwarded to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from where it will be sent to the President Mamnoon Hussain for approval.
It should be noted that Mirza was to be sent to the gallows on 21st March 2015 but his hanging was delayed after the leaking of his controversial video.
He is convicted of killing Managing Director of K-Electric Shahid Hamid.
