Interior Ministry says unable to omit Musharraf's name from ECL

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Interior has said that the name of Pervez Musharraf cannot be excluded from the Exit Control List (ECL) – ARY News reports.

Ministry of Interior said that Pervez Musharraf is to be given the permission of travelling abroad by the court; Government can do nothing in this regard.

Sources told that Interior Ministry refused to omit the name of Musharraf from the ECL saying that the Government can do nothing in this regard for the matter is sub judice.

However, if the court allows him to go, then he is free to travel anywhere.

Earlier Sehba Musharraf, wife of Gen. (R) Pervez Musharraf, had requested the Interior Ministry for removing his name from the ECL.
