According to the report by investigation team, the pilot was flying at high altitude that caused the mishap.
Tyres of the plane were burst during landing after which the aircraft became imbalance and skidded off the runway.
A number of passengers were reportedly injured after a private airline made an emergency landing on Tuesday. Karachi-Lahore flight NL-142 was carrying over 250 passengers when it made an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
It is was also reported that the gears of the aircraft also malfunctioned, prompting pilot to make emergency landing.
