ISLAMABAD: Lashing out at his opponents, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said how those people could run a country who were even struggling to control a province, ARY News reported Wednesday.
“An investment of around $ 35 billion is being made to facilitate the masses,” stated the PM.
Addressing a gathering on occasion of lucky-draw of Prime Minister Youth Loan Scheme, the PM said government had presented a good budget while all the set targets had been met.
He said maintaining transparency was the top priority of government in youth loan scheme. A laptop scheme is also being initiated at federal level for competent students, announced the PM.
The PM reiterated that government will overcome electricity crisis in its current tenure.
Taunting at his opponents, he said one must avoid impeding one’s way. He said Diamer-Bhasha Dam was being started that will help inducting 4,500 mega watts of electricity in the national grid.
He said scores of people kept getting loans in the past, while the downtrodden segment remained deprived of it. “The poor segment cannot be neglected at all,” said the PM.
