TOP NEWS

Speaking at a presser at Jinnah Ground today, MQM candidate from NA-246 Karachi, Kunwar Naveed Jamil said, “In establishment’s view PTI is a good boy and we a bad boy.”

He said that unfortunately PTI’s attitude is ‘aggressive’ from the very beginning.

“Imran Khan uses derogatory language against Altaf Hussain on all TV channels”, Jamil castigated. “PTI has come with an intention to conquer Karachi, not to contest the by-polls.”

He accused that the entire state apparatus and resources have been allocated for the PTI and its agenda is to make money not to contest the election.

The MQM candidate further said that no MQM worker was involved in yesterday’s scuffle in Karimabad, those were the residents of the area, against whom cases were registered with the anti-terrorism clauses included.

He lamented that the Imran Khan gets his workers freed forcefully, yet no case is registered against him under the anti-terrorism laws.

On the occasion, Wasim Akhtar said that his party wants to tell the Election Commission of Pakistan that the Sindh government is transferring officials in its own interest.

He said that after the announcement of election schedule no transfers or postings can be made.

Akhtar also demanded the ECP to take notice of the derogatory language being used against Altaf Hussain.
