Huge loss for the Indian cricket team as Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has reportedly been ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022, which is less than a month away, Indian media reported.
Bumrah had been ruled out of the first India-South Africa T20I yesterday, after complaining of a niggle in the back.
Indian cricket team received a big blow as ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s availability for T20 World Cup has been hugely overcast, after he had complained of back pain. Bumrah didn’t travel to Trivanthapuram to play the first T20 against South Africa.
However, no official news has been issued by the BCCI regarding Bumrah’s unavailability for the T20 World Cup.
The Indian board in its statement before the T20 game had informed that Bumrah had complained of back pain during India’s practice session on Tuesday.
“Jasprit Bumrah complained of back pain in during India’s practice session on Tuesday. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He is ruled out of the first T20I,” BCCI had said in its statement.
