JIT holds second session to record testimony of Baldia factory owners

The JIT headed by DIG Sultan Khawaja held second session with Baldia factory owners at the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai and recorded their statement.
While recording their testimony, the owners got fumed over media coverage of them and stopped news men from doing so.
The details pertaining to the testimony have not been revealed yet.
The JIT after recording the statement departed from the Consulate. The investigators will hold third session tomorrow.
A horrific blaze had erupted at a garment factory Ali Enterprises in Baldia Town which at least 258 people – mostly labourers – burnt alive on September 11, 2012.
Till date, the investigations could not track the elements responsible for the fire.
Recent investigations suggested political motive backed by alleged demands of extortion from some influential quarters in Karachi.
