LONDON: England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Butler was instrumental in taking his through in the second Test against Pakistan after he scored 80* in the must-win game at Headingley.
The English batsman now is in the news, not for his splendid batting, but for the offensive phrase seen inscribed on top of his bat after its picture went viral.
The picture showed the words ‘F*** it’ scrawled on top of his bat’s handle and social media users did not take long to start trolling the cricketer. The cricketer did not issue any clarification about the message but the users on social media tried to come up with various explanations.

England thrashed Pakistan by an innings and 55 runs to win the second cricket Test at Headingley in Leeds on Sunday. The victory, completed inside three days, saw England level the two-match series at 1-1 after Pakistan won the first Test at Lord’s by nine wickets.
It was also England’s first victory in a Test match since they beat the West Indies at Lord’s in September.
