Justin Baldoni’s former agent, Danny Greenberg, has made serious allegations against Blake Lively regarding her behaviour on the set of the upcoming film “It Ends With Us”. In court documents, Greenberg referred to Lively’s actions as akin to “extortion”.
Greenberg, who represented Baldoni during the film’s production, reportedly suggested in July 2024 that Baldoni send a letter to Sony addressing Lively’s alleged attempts to “gain control” of the film.
During his deposition, Greenberg stated that his use of the term “extortion” was related to Lively’s cumulative behaviour that Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, had to manage.
In his testimony, Greenberg mentioned having “ongoing conversations” with Sony production executive Ange Giannetti about Lively’s conduct, particularly referencing the August 2024 premiere in New York City, where Baldoni was allegedly taken to a windowless basement to avoid encountering Lively on the red carpet.
Lively’s spokesperson responded to the allegations, stating, “The court already dismissed their so-called ‘taking over a movie’ claim, and this cherry-picked deposition quote from Baldoni’s prior agent before he was dropped from WME adds nothing new”. The spokesperson emphasised that the court’s dismissal had assumed the allegations were true for argument’s sake but still found them insufficient under the law.
Rumours of a feud between the co-stars began when they chose not to promote the Colleen Hoover film adaptation together or pose for photos at the New York premiere. Lively confirmed these tensions in December 2024 when she filed a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni, accusing him of showing her inappropriate materials and making disparaging comments about her body.
Lively later filed a formal lawsuit with similar allegations, to which Baldoni’s legal team responded by calling her claims “Shameful” and “categorically false”. They alleged that Baldoni has hired a crisis manager to address Lively’s demands and threats.
In a counter move, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, claiming that Lively was using Reynolds and her friend Taylor Swift’s influence to manipulate situations in her favour. Baldoni also accused Reynolds of aggressively demanding an apology for actions that he claimed never occurred or were misrepresented.
However, Baldoni’s lawsuit was dismissed in June, and both he and Lively are set to resolve their dispute in court in March 2026.
