Karachi firing claims two lives

KARACHI: Two persons were killed in different firing incidents in different parts of the Karachi, ARY News reports.

Unknown persons opened fire at a shop near Expo Centre due to which two persons were injured. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical care where one of the wounded, named Shams, succumbed to his injuries.

Shams was the salesman in the shop.

According to police, the incident occurred during a robbery attempt. The armed persons had entered the medical shop with intention of robbing the store. The robbers opened fire at the shop in which Shams was killed whereas the owner was injured.

LEAs arrived at the shop after the incident and have started collecting evidences.

Another person was gunned down near the Bakra Peedi area of Malir. The deceased person has not yet been identified.
