DUBAI: Karachi Kings’ top order batsman Babar Azam believes that his team is the strongest one in the league this time as they have a nice blend of experienced and talented players.
The 22-year old batting sensation told before leaving for Dubai that he is looking forward to live up to the high expectations of his fans during the second edition of the Pakistan Super League.
Babar, who played the first season of the league for Islamabad United, could not play majority of the games due to injury.
The batsman, who is one of the fastest batsmen to reach 1,000 ODI runs, is expecting to have fun in the league and learn from the veterans like Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawerdene and Chris Gayle.
Babar Azam has scored four centuries so far in his career. He struck three consecutive tons in the series against West Indies.
Pakistan Super League is to commence from February 9 in the UAE and final of the tournament will be played in Lahore on March 5.
