DUBAI: Karachi Kings will face Quetta Gladiators in their Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 encounter at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday evening, ARY News reported.
Karachi Kings lost their opening match of this year’s PSL by seven wickets to Peshawar Zalmi whereas Quetta Gladiators won their first match against Lahore Qalandars by eight runs.
Karachi Kings, lead by Kumar Sangakkara, will be eyeing to turn their fortunes by beating Quetta Gladiators in today’s fixture.
Karachi’s bowling attack will be headed by pacers Mohammad Amir and Sohail whereas Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik will be putting the Qalandars’ batting lineup in a spin.
The team — with the likes of Chris Gayle, Kumar Sangakkara, Shoaib Malik, Ravi Bopara, Babar Azam, Kieron Pollard and Mahela Jayawardene — has the capability to post a big total in today’s fixture.
The match will start at 09.00 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars will take on defending champions Islamabad United in today’s first game.
