A judicial magistrate on September 5, lodged FIR against a senior lawyer after an altercation. The lawyers were demanding deletion of anti-terrorism clauses from the FIR.
Sindh High Court bar also boycotted court proceedings today to express solidarity with protesting colleagues. A delegation of lawyers also called on the Chief Justice and requested for suspending the judicial work.
Heavy contingent of police has been deployed outside the Sindh High Court building here with water cannons to avoid any untoward incident during the rally of the protesting lawyers.
