Karachi man robbed of Rs1.5 million on gunpoint outside bank

KARACHI: A trader in the New Sabzi Mandi has on Monday been robbed of Rs1.5 million at gunpoint soon as he stepped outside the bank with the payment, ARY News reported.

The suspects mugged the victim of Rs1,500,000, after wielding a gun at him when he came out of the bank, and ran away with the stolen money.

The market committee official told police of the incident and confirmed the suspects fled the scene soon after the robbery.

According to the details, the police have booked the case against unknown suspects on the complaint of the victim but there has not been any development on the identities and whereabouts of them.

Gold earrings of deceased woman stolen at Karachi hospital

Separately today, the gold earrings of a deceased woman were reported missing at the Jinnah Hospital Karachi.

According to details, the plaintiff Nagina Khatoon submitted a petition to the Saddar police station in which it was claimed that the earrings of the deceased woman were stolen from the hospital.

The applicant said that on October 5, my mother was shifted to Jinnah Hospital. While being transferred to the hospital, she had 2 gold earrings in her ears.

She further stated in his petition that on October 6, my mother’s health deteriorated and she died during her treatment at the hospital. After her death, when she left the ward, someone stole her earrings.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and it is hoped that the facts will come to light soon.
