KARACHI: Additional Inspector General Karachi Dr. Amir Sheikh on Wednesday inaugurated a newly-constructed investigation office in District East, ARY News reported.
A new technical room has also been established. The Karachi police chief was briefed that a separate computer room and diary room had been formed to keep record of all the cases.
The new center also has an investigation lab.
Dr Sheikh also met all investigation officers and listened to their grievances they face during job. He decided to give motorcycles to all investigation officers of Karachi.

The AIG said expenses required for probing the case will be given to officers before they begin their investigation.
He said cases should be prepared in a manner that bails of suspects should be seized. “Now, no more complaints of investigation officers will be tolerated. The report prepared by IOs hold immense importance,” he said.
In his last meeting couple of days ago, Sheikh had reviewed security situation ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 4 matches after announcement of transfer of more matches in Karachi.
“We are reviewing security situation after transfer of more matches to the metropolis. We have already made contingency plan for security of the matches,” he said in a statement.
