Karachi on terrorists' radar, says AIG

Thebo has claimed that target killing has ended in Karachi while terrorists are not able to carry out attacks on large scale due to the continuous raids and operations by the law enforcement entities in the metropolis.

“No major terror attack took place in Karachi after the attack on Jinnah Airport”, he said.

He claimed that there are no specific evidences pointing towards Taliban’s involvement in attacks on polio teams and educational institutes. He added that any organization can carry out its activities in the name of Taliban and Islamic State.

AIG further stated that no bank robbery took place in Karachi for the past three months whereas the suspect behind the Sakhi Hassan bank looting has been traced and will be arrested soon.

Thebo added that the number of killings has also significantly gone down in the provincial capital.
