Minor among two die of naegleria, dengue in Karachi

This year four people have fallen prey to the Naegleria virus. On Tuesday morning, a man named Sufyan, affected with Naegleria, breathed his last at a private hospital in Karachi.

He was a resident of Zahra Goth, Hub.

Earlier to him, Irfan, a resident of Gulberg, had lost his life due to the same virus. The others who died of Naegleria were inhabitants of Jauhar Town.

Meanwhile, a 10-year-old boy died of Dengue fever at a Karachi hospital, who was a resident of Orangi Town.

The in-charge of Karachi Dengue Cell Shakil Malik told that this year 360 patients affected from Dengue have been brought to different hospitals and this was the first death caused by Dengue.
