Karachi: Two kidnappers shot dead in encounter

KARACHI: Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) of the police in a joint operation with Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) shot dead two kidnappers and rescued an abducted person during an encounter in Karachi, ARY News reported.

According to details, the law enforcement personnel conducted a raid at a place along Northern Bypass and shot dead two kidnappers and rescued a kidnapped person.

Police said that the two abductors had kidnapped Mohammad Faisal from Khawaja Ajmer Nagri on 5th January, 2017 and demanded Rs. 30 million as ransom.

Moreover, Police apprehended a suspected criminal in an injured state after an encounter in Shah Latif Town and recovered weapons from him.

Meanwhile, a man was wounded in a shooting incident in Baloch Colony of Karachi.
