Karachi Unrest: Eight killed, five injured by firing

KARACHI: Eight people were reported killed and five others were injured in different firing incidents across the provincial metropolis, ARY News reports on Saturday.

Unidentified persons killed a persons in the area of Gulshan-e-Hadeed earlier this morning.

Two brothers, identified as Sajid and Abid, were gunned down by armed persons in the area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal. According to the police, the two brothers were subjected to target killing.

The mob came out on the streets and blocked the road heading to Sohrab Goth. They also burned tyres and protested against the incidents.

Another person was killed in a firing incident near Sohrab Goth Indus Plaza. The body of Muneer son of Fareed was found from Baldia Town Bismillah Chowk. He was killed in a firing incident as well.
