Katrina Kaif makes Instagram debut, amasses over 900k followers in a day

NEW DELHI: Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif has made her Instagram debut and the first picture shared by her has drawn torrent of praise from the fans.
“New beginnings … coming from my happy place #helloinstagram,” she wrote with the post.
Couple of websites mistook the message completely and speculated it with her new home (superstitious one)
The actor had been teasing her fans and followers on Facebook that she has a surprise planned for them at 2pm on Thursday. Her fans had already guessed that she will be joining Instagram and even spotted the handle.
However, the handle was made official only at the pre-decided time and the picture was shared at 2.45pm.
The account has already raked in 932K followers in just a day.
Currently, Katrina is busy with her next film, Jagga Jasoos. The film has been directed by Anurag Basu and also stars Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be seen with Salman Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai.
