Key Taliban commander killed in Karachi

According to Rangers’ spokesperson, a targeted operation was held at Karachi’s Musharraf Colony area. The spokesperson said that the terrorists opened fire and threw hand grenades at the para-military force during the operation due to which one Rangers personnel was wounded.

Taliban commander identified as Abid alias Mucharr and his three accomplices were killed by the retaliatory fire.

It is said that Abid alias Mucharr was the mastermind of the bomb blasts in Karachi. However, his three partners have not been identified as of yet.

Four Kalashnikovs were also recovered from the dead terrorists.
