According to the reports, the incident occurred when driver of a bus carrying passengers to Karachi lost control and collided with a truck on the Indus Highway near Khairpur.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene and started shifting injured to a nearby hospital.
In another incident, around 40 people including women were injured near Pindi-Bhattian in Punjab when a bus carrying employees of a factory overturned.
Road accidents are frequent in Pakistan and most of them occurred due to negligence of drivers.
