Khattak inquires after rainstorm victims in KP

Talking to media after consoling the injured, CM Khattak said that ‘he was not a doctor who was supposed to be present at hospital all the time’.

“The purpose of my visit was to inquire after patients and encourage them,” he added.

On the other hand, wife of the PTI chairman, Reham Khan also visited Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital on Monday, where she told that it was difficult to provide medical facilities to all the injured immediately.

Yesterday, a massive rainstorm hit parts of KP resulting in 45 casualties. Over 200 people were injured which led to an emergency in affected areas.

Winds ran as high as 110 km/hr blowing roofs off several houses and uprooting trees and poles Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera and other areas, which were followed by heavy rains.
