Defense Minister Khawaja Asif alleged that the founder of PTI brought thousands of Taliban into Pakistan and sheltered them.
In a post on social media platform X, Khawaja Asif claimed that PTI still advocates negotiating with terrorists, and stressed that for years our armed forces and citizens have been shedding blood.
Khawaja Asif said there were lengthy talks with the Afghan government over many years, but despite delegations travelling to and from Kabul, violence in Pakistan did not cease.

“Every day we are bearing the coffins of our soldiers,” he wrote. He added that the hospitality extended to some six million Afghan refugees is being paid for in our blood.
He said the time has come for Afghan guests to return to their homes: “Afghan guests should go back — terrorism and bloodshed must stop.”
Criticizing those who offer refuge to militants, Khawaja Asif asked rhetorically: “How can they be called guests who spill the blood of their hosts and provide shelter to killers?”
