During his meeting with a well-known economist and Ex SBP Governor Shahid Kardar on Monday, Khurram Dastagir said that concerned Ministry has started the detailed study for the selection of preferential commercial products and new commercial markets.
The Minister said that soon trade reforms will be made in country after the analysis of world’s successful business model.
“Following the trade reforms, government will utilize all its available resources and machinery for the international marketing of Pakistani products”, he added.
Khurram Dastagir informed that he is in contact with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Ministry of Finance and concerned provincial institutes to eliminate obstacles in the trade development of the country adding that he is being suggested by Trade Ministry for trade promotion.
Shahid Kardar, on the other hand, said that bringing diversification in the export of the country is need of hour to increase the trade of country.
Furthermore, strengthening trade relationship with emerging Far Eastern Countries will be beneficial to increase the trade of the country.
