The leader of opposition said he came to know through media that Finance Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah had replaced Qaim Ali Shah as chief minister.
He termed Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s objection to posting of member of Election Commission of Pakistan from Punjab as baseless. He said he had taken senior member of PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi into confidence over Justice Altaf’s name, however PTI had raised objection over Justice Tariq Khosa’s name.
“Justice Altaf’s name was at third position in the list presented by the opposition parties,” he said.
Khursheed Shah had objection that Khosa was Pakistan Muslim League-N’s worker.
