Khyber Agency: FC arrests 18 terror facilitators with over 65m currency

Frontier Corps personnel in an operation in Khyber Agency arrested 18 facilitators of terrorists with over 65 million Pakistani and foreign currency, a spokesman of the paramilitary force said in a statement.

The foreign currency included Saudi Riyal and US dollars. Two and half kilograms of gold and 1.5 KG silver also captured from their possession, the spokesman further said.

The terrorists are using currency and precious materials for buying weapons and funding the acts of terrorism, the spokesman said.

According to the spokesman the operation was conducted as part of the national action plan for counter terrorism.
