Kim Kardashian has jokingly given credit to her step dad Caitlyn Jenner for giving content to their family show, Keeping Up with The Kardashians.
During her appearance at on Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show, the SKIMS founder spilled the beans on Kardashian – Jenner clan’s early days filming the show.
“We shot the pilot and had no idea what it would turn into, but 20 years on it is still going,” Kim Kardashian shared.
The 45-year-old reality star went on to joke, “Sometimes at the end of the season, we were like, ‘We’re going to be so boring. We’ve filmed every crazy thing that could possibly happen to us — what could we possibly film next?’ And then, like, my stepdad turns into a woman, and it’s like, ‘Oh, we have two more seasons right there.’”
Caitlyn Jenner announced her transition in a the cover story for Vanity Fair in June, 2015 and later had her own reality series, I Am Cait.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians first aired in 2007, rising the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan to impressive levels of fame. The reality show aired through 2021 before transitioning into the family’s new Hulu series, The Kardashians, the following year.
