Police presented 43 suspects before the court on Wednesday morning. A plea, requesting the court to keep the suspects in jail till completion of the investigation due to the sensitive nature of the case, was granted by the court.
The suspects have been sent to jail for another week.
A mob had burnt a Christian couple alive in a brick kiln for allegedly committing blasphemy in Kot Radha Kishan area near Lahore. It is said that the owner of the brick kiln had blamed the couple for committing blasphemy over a monetary dispute.
