Speaking to media on Saturday, Nisar said that his ministry had given intelligence report twice to provincial authorities regarding Mardan terror attack.
“Terrorists do not want the nation to be happy. The people of Pakistan have to be united to eliminate terrorists from the country,” he said. “War against terrorism has not ended yet,” the minister added.
He further said that the agencies had intelligence regarding presence of terrorists at Peshawar’s Warsak Road. The interior minister visited Mardan Medical Complex and met the victims of the terrorist attack.

At least 13 people were killed and 40 others were injured in a suicide attack at the gate of Mardan district court.
Four terrorists were killed during exchange of fire with security forces in Peshawar’s Christian Colony located at Warsak Road on Friday morning. A civilian was killed and two others were injured in the incident.
