KSE 100-Index sheds 120.21 points


KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) downs by 120.21 points, KSE 100-Index closed at 24878.68 points on Tuesday, ARY News reported.

The 100-Index showed the negative progress of 0.48 per cent on the day.

High and Low were 25103.68 and 24852.47 respectively.

Total volume traded in the market was 108,316,090 and in terms of value it was 7,079,791,475.

The day started with the boost of 105 points and 100-Index crossed 25000 points but profit taking in Banking as well as Oil and Gas sector turned it into decline.

On Monday, Pakistan stocks closed at all time high led by selected stocks across the board on strong valuations. KSE-100 share index increased by 128.34 points to end the day at 24998.89 points compared to 24870.55 points of the last working day on Friday.
