According to details, son of Police Inspector Saifullah Virk had called a plumber named Hafiz Muhammad Naeem at his house for performing some relative domestic work.
Upon the completion of the work assigned to him, Naeem asked the cop’s son for his wage, at which the house-owner got raged and thrashed the poor laborer with batons along with other accomplices.
The incident took place in Muhafiz Town under the jurisdiction of Saddar police station.
Naeem was immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital, where the doctors confirmed that the victim suffered barbaric blows.
The laborer appealed the authorities to take notice of the incident and provide justice to him.
