Nurses in different cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have taken to streets for getting their demands approved.

Even harsh weather could not weaken their spirit as nurses started to gather again in the morning after overnight storm had detached their tents in Lahore. The nurses, who apparently seemed adamant to their demands, said they would not go home until their demands were fulfilled.

Nurses have demanded to restore their service structure and health risk allowance. They have threatened to stage sit-in protest in front of the Punjab Assembly against the hospital administrations if their demands were not met.

“It is government’s apathy that they have not responded to our rightful demands yet,” said a nurse while talking to ARY News.

On the other hand, nurses in Multan, Faisalabad also protested on different arteries, while Peshawar nurses protested before KP assembly to get their demands fulfilled.
