Lahore: One killed as truck crashes into underpass

LAHORE: A man killed and four others were injured when a reckless driver rammed his truck with walls while passing through an underpass in Lahore, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Police said that the driver of a truck tried to drive his vehicle through an under construction underpass despite a road sign restricting the vehicles to do so.

The driver crashed his vehicle into the underpass due to which a man in the truck namely Ali Raza was killed whereas four others were injured.

The injured persons were shifted to Jinnah Hospital Lahore for medical treatment.

The victims were traveling on the roof of the truck.

The truck driver is still at large whereas Police has taken the truck into its custody.
