LHC seeks written objection over petition against PM House’s expenses

Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan heard the plea filed by Advocate Syed Feroze Shah Gilani on July 8, stating that Rs. 122.4 million had been spent on the acquisition of luxurious bullet proof cars and sniffer dogs.

During the hearing the petitioner informed millions of Rupees had been spent on buying of luxurious cars and sniffer dogs, besides large amount of money was being spent on the redecoration of PM House, which is unconstitutional and illegitimate.

The petitioner demanded court to declare buying of cars and sniffer dogs nullified.

Government’s layer gave the stance that petition is not valid and it should be rejected.

After listening to both the parties, court remarked that it’s the right of every citizen to get information regarding the expenses of PM House asking federal government to provide objections over the petition in written.

The court adjourned the hearing for two weeks.
