Pakistan thrash Zimbabwe to clinch series

Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first in the series decider.

Zimbabwe were dismissed for 161 runs in 38.5 overs. Only openers Chamu Chibhabha and Richmond Mutumbami put up some resistance in front of the Pakistani bowlers.

Richmond Mutumbami scored 67 runs while Chamu Chibhabha made 48 runs for the side.

Bilal Asif was the stand out bowler for Pakistan as he took five wickets in his 10 overs while Imad Wasim dismissed three batsmen. Mohammad Irfan and Shoaib Malik also grabbed one wicket each.

Pakistan reached the target of 162 runs in 34 overs with seven wickets to spare. Bilal Asif and Asad Shafiq were the top scorers for the team with 38 runs each.

Shoaib Malik made 34 runs for the side while Ahmed Shehzad contributed 32 runs for the team.

Tinashe Panyangara, Sean Williams and John Nyumbu all took one wicket each.

Bilal Asif was named the Player of the Match while Shoaib Malik was named the Player of the Series.
