LONDON: Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, unveiled a bust of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the historic British Museum on Tuesday.

The Jinnah’s bust was unveiled at a ceremony held at the museum. In a message on his Twitter account, Sadiq Khan said that he was proud to unveil the bronze bust of the great Muhammad Ali Jinnah to honour him in the historic British Museum before it moves to its permanent home in Lincoln’s Inn.

 

The ceremony was also attended by the Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Syed Ibne Abbas.

Speaking on the occasion, he paid a tribute to the founder of the nation, saying Pakistan is a reward of his determined and relentless struggle for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent.
